A coalition of Arab and Islamic states — from Qatar to Kuwait — issued a joint statement demanding an immediate cessation of hostilities and a return to UN-led negotiations. They warned that, without urgent de-escalation, the entire Middle East could be dragged into a larger war.
Last week’s campaign targeted key military and nuclear facilities in Iran, including a uranium enrichment site, and reportedly killed senior commanders and scientists.
